Dursley

This small town is on the southwestern edge of the Cotswolds, lying snugly surrounded by tree-hills. Mentioned in the Doomsday Book, it has been a market town since 1471, when Edward IV granted it a charter. Its history centres on the Cotswolds wool trade, the forerunner of industries still bringing trade and prosperity to the town.
